Copenhagen Games : Day 1
Today has been the first day of Copenhagen games. Due to the team arriving a bit later than planned as they drove and took a ferry from Germany, we missed the pre-game interview for the €650 Interstellar Marine’s 5v5 tournament.
Unfortunately the long 10 hour journey and lack of time to play the game led to a defeat in the tournament as we finished 3rd – 4th. The second day will have the first group draws with MnM being placed into group 8. We expect to qualify out of this group and qualify for the main event. I asked Timo xeni Mangold (c) for a statement about tomorrow and here’s what he has to say:
It was a hard day with our 10 hour journey but now we now have to rest and concentrate on what we will plan for tomorrow. We are confident to make it through the first and second group stages to qualify for the main tournament. The team spirit is good and we are excited for tomorrow.

We want to thank our sponsor Straits Kitchen for helping fund our players to have this opportunity to play at Copenhagen Games.
