epic.LAN 16 Counter-Strike
This weekend marks the start of epic.LAN 16, which is unusually held in October. The event already has 15 teams signed up with names such as Rasta Gaming making a return to the CSGO offline event’s scene. You can find a list of the teams here. If there are more teams to turn up, then the prize pool will be moved up to £1500 which could be expected as teams such as CeX, Devine eSports and EZskins have not made an appearance yet. The MnM roster is still quite new, having only joined MnM in the recent weeks with the addition of vertiGo in their ranks, quiver still seemed confident to place high at this event.
I am looking forward to what should be another well run event from epic LAN. The team list looks stacked high so it should be fun competing against the best of what UK CS has to offer. We’re not over thinking who we’re playing or how good they are, we’re just taking each match up as it comes.
