ESL UK Premiership LoL

Since the end of August 2015 we have been working our way and playing our hearts out to this point in time, to enter the ESL UK Premiership. What started off with a 4 month slog for first place in the ESL UK Major led us to the promotions last weekend.

The promotions consisted of 8 teams, of which 4 will move onto the Premiership itself. With the Challenger Series wild card on the line, the promotions were harder than ever with Renegades EU being the clear favourites for the promotions and the Premiership.

The Promotions teams were:
Renegades (Qualifier)
ManaLight (Qualifier)
GLB eSports (Qualifier)
xL eSports (Qualifier)
MnM Gaming (ESL UK Major Winner)
NUEL Titans (Previous Season Participant)
TCA eSports (Previous Season Participant)
Team Paria (Previous Season Participant)

The existing 4 teams in the Premiership:
FM eSports
Choke Gaming
Exertus eSports
Team Infused

The Promotions

The ESL UK Promotions were tougher than ever with the recent announcement of the Challenger Series as the next possible stage for the winner of the Premiership. This was a big step for the UK Scene, drawing in Renegades to ESL UK after failing to qualify for Challenger Series with a loss against Millennium.

The Valentines weekend of 13-14th Feb was the date set for the promotions to take place. A link to the full schedule and brackets are here.

Here is a list of our results:
Round 1 :  MnM vs Renegades
01
Lower Bracket 1: MnM vs excel eSports
10
Lower Bracket 2: MnM vs GLB eSports
1 – 0

Other teams to join us through the promotions:
Renegades
ManaLight
TCA eSports

The season starts this Wednesday and every Wednesday after with the full schedule here:
